HMUMC Food Pantry Food Drive
Zaxby's at Hamilton Mill will be giving away free chicken fingerz on Saturday, March 26, open to close. They have partnered with Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church to do a food drive for the Food Pantry.
To receive your free chicken fingerz you will need to bring two non-perishable food items to Zaxby's. Zaxby's will be running this promo all day.
Hope you enjoy your free chicken and thanks for helping to make this a great community event!

Lenten Season Event Schedule
· Special Easter Recognition for Loved Ones:
To remember or honor a loved one and help provide decoration funds for the sanctuary during the Lenten season, please put your money or check in the Sanctuary Decorating Fund envelope and place in the offering plate. Make checks payable to HMUMC with Easter Decorating on the memo line. The deadline is April 10.
· Family Movie Night: Friday, March 25 at 6:00pm. Make memories and plan to join us in the Great Room for popcorn and a movie that your whole family can enjoy.
· Decision for Christ Sunday: March 27. Join us at 5:00pm for a special service as our young people dedicate themselves to God through profession of faith or rededication to Christ.
· Palm Sunday Service: Sunday, April 17 at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. Join us on this special day as we celebrate Christ’s Triumphal Entry with music and praise!
· Family Easter Celebration: Wednesday, April 20. Create memories for you & your children by attending our annual Easter Egg Hunt for children 1 year to 5th grade at 5:30pm through 5:45pm, grouped by age. Please donate one dozen pre-stuffed, taped eggs per child with appropriate trinkets or individually wrapped candies (no nuts please). You can donate even if you don’t have children here! Drop off your eggs in the bin near the elevator on/before April 17, 2011. www.hmumc.org.

5:30pm-7:00pm. Please register as usual. The Easter
Celebration will feature the Empty Tomb and two
identical presentations at 6:00pm and 6:30pm from our
Youth Puppet Ministry Team led by Dr. Dave and His Kids!
· Maundy Thursday Service: Thursday, April 21
at 7:00pm. Join us for worship at this traditional communion service..
· Good Friday Service: Friday, April 22 at 7:00pm. Join
us for worship as we examine the Contemplation of the Cross.
· Easter Morning Services: Sunday, April 24. Join us at
one or more of four very special services offered on this glorious day!

The Easter Flower Cross will be in front of the
Portico/Great Room entrance on Easter morning. All
members and guests are invited to help decorate this cross
on Easter morning by bringing flowers. This is a beautiful
way to express joy and thanksgiving. Children especially
delight in adding their flowers to the cross.
Clipping For A Cause - Coupon Ministry
In two months over $735 worth of much needed items have been purchased for The Pantry at the low cost of $73! To continue doing this, we need additional coupons found in the Sunday or Thursday AJC or Gwinnett Daily Post. Cut out and keep any coupons you plan to use and place the rest of the insert intact into the blue collection box in the portico entrance next to The Pantry bins. For questions, contact Erin Clary.
Ladybug Bazaar - March 17th
Preschool Ladybug Bazaar
Please plan to attend the first annual HMUMC Preschool Business Bazaar on Thursday, March 17 from 9:00am-2:00pm, in the Sanctuary and Great Room. Flyers are in the Narthex with the names of the businesses attending.
The event is open to the public, so come enjoy shopping for spring items and seeing the many businesses in our community being represented here at HMUMC. Space is still available for any business that would like to participate and rent booth space. Call us at 770-271-2783.
