Hi,
I would very much appreciate it if you could pass on my thanks for the wonderful prayer quilt presented to me by Pastor Dave last Thursday whilst we were preparing for the ex prisoners Dinner that evening. Could you also pass on my gratitude to all those in the prayer group who were also involved. It means so much to me and I will be taking it home to England on 27 December when I return and treasuring it. Whatever the future holds for me, I will always have my quilt and memories of a wonderful pre Christmas time at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Kind regards
Ursula Nicol
Church Leaders,
The Pantry has received a huge blessing! The Boy Scouts donated 4,000 cans for food yesterday! You should see the classroom across from The Pantry right now! Looking for something to do tonight??!!! We need to process all of that food! Some of our Pantry volunteers will be on hand to coordinate, but we need lots of hands to make it happen! If you can help, come to the modular unit at 6:30! Thanks for all that you’re doing! mat
Brother and Sisters,
Your SPR committee and Youth Search Team are pleased to announce that our top choice for the Director of Student Ministries Committee as accepted the position! Paul Knight comes to us from 12Stone and brings incredible gifts for ministry and passion for students. Paul will be spending his first few weeks at HMUMC getting to know leaders in the church and spending time with our students. This Sunday, David Saine will introduce Paul to the students in The Shed at 9:30 and 11:00, and on January 9th we will have a night of worship where students and parents can come and hear Paul talk about his passion for students and dreams for HMUMC!
Thank you for your prayers through this process. Paul comes with unanimous support from the SPR committee and Youth Search Team, and we believe that the unity of mind that we have around Paul is a result of the prayers that saturated this process.
Welcome Paul!
