Red Cross Summer Blood Drive Monday, June 13

The annual HMUMC Blood Drive is from 1:00pm - 7:00pm in

the Great Room. Sign up online at www.redcrossblood.org using

passcode: hamumc (all lower case) or sign up in the Narthex

before or after worship services through Sunday, June 12. Bring

your Red Cross donor card or a photo ID when you make your

donation. Volunteers are needed to work in 2-hour shifts with

registration and manning the canteen. Contact Pat Erwin at 770

Angel Food Ministries Help For Summer Months

Angel Food Ministries

Angel Food Ministries needs your help during the summer

months. With children home from school, some families find

it harder financially. Please help donate to a family in need. A

“Bread of Life” signature box is only $35 and will provide a family

of four food for one week. Drop off checks in the front office, with

Angel Food Order in the memo line and we will find the family!

Order deadline is Sunday, June 19 with distribution on Saturday,

June 25.

There are many ways to volunteer and show others the love of

Jesus Christ. Contact Robin Boozer at robin.boozer@hmumc.org.

Hospitality Host/Hostess: Greet guests at the Welcome Center

each Sunday before services.

Card Writer: Once a month in the comfort of your home, write a

card to those on the prayer list.

Greeter: One Sunday per month to greet incoming guests at one

of the church entry doors before the 9:30am worship service.

Receptionist: Pick a day or more Monday-Thursday and assist

the church staff by answering the phones.

Meal Provider: Once or twice a quarter prepare a home-cooked

meal for church families in need.

Coffee Host/Hostess: One Sunday per month, assist with the

Sunday Morning Coffee Break between the 9:30am and 11:00am

worship services.

• 10 Minute Party Host/Hostess: Select a worship service and

welcome guests afterwards at our lemonade and cookie reception.
