Wednesday Night Fellowship Supper - December 1, 2010

Please join other members and guests for dinner and fellowship every Wednesday night from 5:30pm–6:30pm. Complete the reservation form in your bulletin, register online at the church’s website, or call the church office at 770-271-8855, ext. 114 no later than noon Monday. Pay at the door. Adults $6 each, children 3-10 years $3 each and children two and under eat free.

Maximum cost per family is $20.

The meal for December 1, 2010 is:

Adults: Baked Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole,

Green Beans and Salad Bar

Children: Baked Ham, Buttered Noodles, and Fruit Cocktail

The Worship Committee is decorating for the holidays. Please consider making a donation for Advent decorations in memory or in honor of a loved one. All names will be printed on a bulletin insert for December 24 & 26. Place cash or checks in the enclosed Sanctuary Decorating Fund envelope and put in the offering plate. Make checks payable to HMUMC with “Decorating Fund” on the memo line. The deadline is Sunday, December 5.

Shepherd’s Needles Ministry

Share in a great time of learning to knit or crochet every Thursday from 1:00pm-2:00pm in Modular Room A-5. This ministry also knits items for deployed soldiers, as well as for children and adults in the hospital and is open to anyone from beginners to experienced. Family Advent Workshop 5 pm - 6 pm

 

Everyone is invited to join the merriment as Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church kicks-off the Advent Season with this wonderful tradition. Create your own family advent wreath and decorate Christmas cookies at the Family Advent Workshop.  Continue the holiday tradition while attending the Hanging of the Greens Service as we decorate the sanctuary and review the meaning of all the favorite holiday traditions.  Children, Adults and families are all welcome to participate in the service. Shoebox Christmas To Share God's Love

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is collecting shoeboxes filled

with gifts to be shipped to God’s children worldwide. A collection

bin is located outside the Great Room. Pick up an OCC brochure

together” for a special service of Prayer and Thanksgiving led

November 23 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Join us as we celebrate

the 2010 ministries at HMUMC, elect officers for 2011 and set

compensation for our Appointed Pastoral Staff.

November 18 at 12:30pm at Ippolito’s located at the Shops

at Hamilton Mill on Braselton Hwy in Dacula (next to Rick

Veterans Day Spaghetti Dinner for Wednesday Night Supper

Celebrate Veterans Day and honor our troops while enjoying a

spaghetti dinner with your family on Wednesday, November

10 sponsored by Operation Soldier Support. Monies raised will

provide care packages for soldiers, fund activities and functions for

the families at home, support OSS and our troops. Please show your
