Upcoming Events

Young Adult (+ or -) Cookout!!
You’re invited, single or married, to Matt and Amy Tuggle’s house for a cookout today at 6:00pm! Come hang out, get to know one another, and talk about the young adult community and developing small groups at HMUMC. Your friends and children are welcome. All you need to bring is a chair! Matt and Amy’s address is 1920 Ashton Pointe Drive, Dacula, GA 30019. For more information, please call 804-399-5518.

It’s Picnic Time!
Everyone is invited to the HMUMC picnic September 20th from 1:00pm-4:00 pm at Duncan Creek Park Pavilion. The United Methodist’s Men will be
grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. Lemonade and iced tea will also be provided. We ask families whose last name begins A-J to bring a dessert to share and families whose last name begins K-Z to bring a side dish to share.

We have reserved the pavilion with over 30 picnic tables, located at the first right as you pull into the park off Braselton Highway. There is a grassy area by the pavilion, a playground, and a basketball court, so bring a blanket and enjoy the afternoon with your friends and church family. Get ready for an afternoon of fun with sack races, three-legged races, and more! This year we will have a church-wide wiffle ball game and softball game to involve the young and old. Look for the team sign-ups in the Narthex. Invite a friend to join in on the fun!

If you are interested in helping with the activities, please email Robin Boozer at robin.boozer@hmumc.org.

Our next meeting will be Monday, September 21 at 7:00pm. Come make some new friends as you enjoy a great dinner, warm fellowship, and a relevant message – and it won’t cost you a penny! Make plans to join us!
